About OpsKarma

OpsKarma is a hands-on practice platform for DevOps, SRE, and platform engineers. We turn the kind of incidents you actually see in production — broken Docker networks, wedged Kubernetes pods, flaky deploys — into small, judgeable scenarios you can drill on.

Every problem runs in a fully simulated terminal. You type real commands, read real-looking output, and a judge reads what you did and gives you feedback on what worked and what to revisit. No cloud bills, no broken dev environments, no "works on my machine".

Where we are

OpsKarma is in beta. It's built and run by a single independent operator. We're shipping new tracks (Kubernetes, Linux, networking) and refining the judge as we go. Things will change; we'd rather move than over-promise.

What we believe

  • Practice should look like the real job — terminals, logs, broken state, not multiple-choice quizzes.
  • Feedback should teach, not just grade. You should walk away knowing why something was right or wrong.
  • Hints exist for when you're actually stuck. Use them, ignore them — your call.
  • The platform stays free while it's in beta. If paid plans launch, we'll be clear about what changes.
